1. What Confedera is
Confedera is a Swiss digital publishing platform: we provide an online space where companies, professionals and owners publish listings and showcases (businesses for sale, shareholdings, fiduciary services, financing offers) and where visitors can search, compare and contact them.
Advertisers purchase — or obtain under the published conditions — a publishing or visibility service and create their listing themselves, entering information, descriptions, financial figures, images, contact details and any other element supported by the system.
Confedera's commercial relationship is therefore with the advertiser, for publication and visibility. It is not an intermediation between advertiser and visitor.
2. How a listing is created
From publication to first contact, step by step.

3. What Confedera does
Our service is technological and editorial: we make a business findable and readable.
Publishing space
We provide the system advertisers use to create, update and manage their listing.
Organisation and search
We classify listings by category, canton, sector and financial parameters so they can be compared.
Visibility
We give listings exposure on the platform and on Confedera's channels.
Formal checks
We verify the completeness of mandatory fields and the existence of a registered account, and remove content that clearly breaches our rules.
Optional technical tools
Contact forms, NDA requests, data rooms, e-signature, offer wizard and calculators are tools for the parties — not our participation in their agreement.
Platform support
We help with accounts, publishing, subscriptions and how the site works.

4. Confedera is not part of the deal
Unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific service, Confedera represents neither the advertiser nor the prospective client. We do not act as agent, broker, intermediary, mandatary, adviser or representative. Specifically, Confedera:
- does not set the price agreed between the parties;
- does not negotiate on behalf of the advertiser;
- does not negotiate on behalf of the prospective client;
- does not decide whether an offer should be accepted or rejected;
- does not sign contracts on behalf of the parties;
- does not collect the price of the transaction between advertiser and client;
- does not guarantee performance of the agreement between the parties;
- does not guarantee an advertiser's solvency, reliability or commercial conduct;
- does not become a party to any contract concluded between advertiser and client.
Amounts collected by Confedera relate solely to its publishing, subscription or visibility services towards the advertiser, not to the transaction between the parties.
5. Where the information comes from
We always distinguish between what the advertiser declares and what we have actually checked.
Provided by the advertiser
- Name, legal entity and business description
- Declared financial figures (revenue, EBITDA, headcount, asking price)
- Uploaded photos, documents and materials
- Contact details, availability and stated conditions
- Declared certifications, licences and authorisations
Checked by Confedera
- Existence of a registered account and a reachable contact
- Completeness of the listing's mandatory fields
- Formal and basic anti-fraud checks on published content
- Any additional checks, only when explicitly stated on the listing
What a verification badge means
A verification indicator refers exclusively to the checks specifically stated and is not a general guarantee of the advertiser's reliability, solvency, service quality or future conduct. We do not audit declared financials and do not perform due diligence on behalf of visitors.
6. Always verify the information
Before making financial decisions, signing agreements, making payments or sending confidential documents, carry out independent checks. Depending on the case:
- Identity and real contact details of the counterparty
- Existence and status of the company in the Commercial Register
- Declared authorisations, licences and professional qualifications
- Actual availability of the asset, business or service
- Original accounting records and debt position
- Proposed financial and contractual terms
- Pending proceedings, pledges or disputes
The presence of a listing on Confedera must not be read as certification, approval, recommendation or a guarantee of the advertiser, except where a specific check is expressly declared and described. For significant transactions, seek legal, tax or fiduciary advice.
7. Listings and promotional content
Advertisers buy space and visibility. We want its effect to be clear.
Paid publication
A listing may be present because space or a subscription was purchased; this is not a quality recommendation by Confedera.
Featured listings
Some listings can obtain more visibility (top placement, dedicated label) depending on the plan purchased.
Standard ordering
Without promotion, ordering follows the filters and criteria chosen by the user (relevance, price, EBITDA, date).
Clear labels
Where a space is promotional we mark it with labels such as “Ad” or “Promoted space”.
Advertiser responsibilities
Whoever publishes is responsible, within the limits of applicable law, for the information and materials provided and must have the right to publish them.
- Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information
- Hold the rights to uploaded texts, images and documents
- Comply with rules applicable to their activity: advertising, consumer protection, intellectual property, data protection, competition, professional and commercial authorisations
- Update or remove the listing when it is no longer valid
This allocation does not exclude mandatory obligations that may apply to Confedera under Swiss law.
Visitor responsibilities
Business decisions remain yours: assess the counterparty and the deal before entering a commercial relationship.
Confedera helps you find and get to know a business or an opportunity. The decision to contact it and any subsequent relationship stay directly between you and the advertiser.
8. Report a listing
If something looks wrong, tell us. Every listing has a report button that automatically links your message to the listing ID.
- Allegedly false or misleading information
- Suspicious activity or attempted fraud
- Illegal content
- Infringement of third-party rights
- Impersonation of people or companies
- Unauthorised use of trademarks, images or content
- Expired or duplicate listings
- Other possible breaches of Confedera's rules
How we handle a report
- 1We log the report with the listing ID and the date.
- 2We review the content and, if needed, ask the advertiser for clarification.
- 3Where appropriate or required by applicable law, we may restrict, suspend or remove the content and inform the competent authority.
- 4We inform the reporter of the outcome when contact details were provided.
Confedera does not consider itself automatically exempt from liability simply because content was uploaded by a user: we review every report we receive.
